Coach Geoff Currie achieves Accredited Professional Coach with ANZI Coaching

Just a quick post to let everyone know that I have just been accredited with the level of Accredited Professional Coach (APC) by the Australia & New Zealand Institute of Coaching (ANZI Coaching) industry group.  I had submitted an application for formal recognition with the industry body earlier this year.  I did this for a number of reasons.

Firstly, it’s interesting how the profession of business coaching has changed in the time I have been coaching (Heading toward 10 years).  There is a much stronger push for industry self regulation, and agreed competency levels.  I think this is a great thing for the industry and everyone associated with it not just the coaches, but also clients and even prospective clients looking for the right coach for them.

Secondly, we can at BGL tap into the coaching network, and training to further hone our coaching craft.  Some of the new techniques and coaching technologies get me excited as I can see how we can achieve change and results even more rapidly.

I still see the best recognition we can receive as coaches are the results we achieve with our clients.  As they say the proof is in the pudding 🙂

Have an outstanding day.
